Since 2020

Craig's Choice Consultancy: Your Behaviour Support Specialists

Individualised Support for Growth and Independence

At Craig’s Choice Consultancy, we help each individual we work with to grow and flourish into their own individuality while fostering independence and confidence.

Behaviour Support Strategies

Craig’s Choice Consultancy specialises in individual behaviour support strategies to help a person reach their full potential. We use the principles of behaviour analysis to help decrease behaviours that challenge and teach meaningful replacement behaviours. An example of some behaviours we work on decreasing include but are not limited to, aggression towards others, property destruction, self-injurious behaviours and tantrums. We also work with a number of sensory behaviours to help an individual learn how to regulate themselves when feeling overwhelmed.

Skill Building and Development

While working on decreasing behaviours that challenge, we specialise in skill building. This includes but is not limited to, communication (vocal speech, Picture Exchange Communication System (PECS) and sign language), imitation, play and social skills, self-help (e.g., toilet training, washing, dressing, desensitisation to haircuts/nail cutting, preparing snacks etc.), school ready skills and academics. Behaviour Analysis is an evidence-based science that uses the principles of behaviour to shape socially significant behaviours. This means while working on decreasing behaviours that challenge, we can help increase positive behaviours all while training the persons key careers in the procedures which ensures the teaching doesn’t just stop when the behaviour analysts leave the persons home.

Global Reach, Personalised Service

We work with a range of individuals who require support including neurodivergent individuals and individuals with other developmental disabilities. We can also work with little learners (early intervention) right up to adulthood. We offer face-to-face services across Northern Ireland and Ireland while also providing services via telehealth across the globe and have worked remotely in Pakistan, Australia, Turks and Caicos Islands, Greece and Italy.

Our Craig.

Craig is our reason and our inspiration for Craig’s Choice Consultancy. Craig is Emma’s brother and has had a huge impact on shaping her life. Growing up with a sibling with profound disabilities Emma and her family were faced with the challenges that not every other family deals with on a daily basis. Becoming Craig’s voice, his teacher, his translator but most importantly, his best friend led Emma to find CCC. As a result, Emma now gets to support families like those of her own by providing high-quality interventions that can fit into everyday family life. CCC is therefore named after Craig, and he is absolutely delighted about it!
